About this property

Welcome to Highland Springs Resort

Highland Springs Resort is a 4.5-star resort hotel located at 10600 Highland Springs Ave, Cherry Valley, CA. The property offers a range of amenities including free Wi-Fi, free parking, an outdoor pool, air conditioning, a golf course, a restaurant, and a bar. It is a kid-friendly and smoke-free environment but does not accommodate pets or provide airport shuttle or fitness center services. Check-in is from 15:00, with check-out at 11:00.

This resort is suited for visitors interested in sightseeing, recreation, and exploring the local area, with a moderate convenience rating of 2.7 out of 5 for getting around. Guests have appreciated the peaceful natural surroundings, including beautiful lavender fields and expansive ranch grounds, which offer opportunities for hiking and relaxation. The venue also hosts seasonal events like the Lavender Night Festival, praised for its immersive and picturesque atmosphere.

Guest reviews reveal a mixed but generally positive experience. While the resort is cherished for its scenic walks, farm-fresh food offerings, and special events, some have noted that there are currently no accommodations available and that key facilities such as the restaurant have temporarily closed. This has led to a shift in focus toward day visits and weekend events rather than overnight stays. Future reopening of the restaurant with local farm-fresh cuisine is anticipated, but timing remains uncertain.

The resort’s location places it near several other lodging options within a few miles, including Holiday Inn Express & Suites and Hampton Inn & Suites, making it a potential day-trip destination for those staying nearby. Visitors should note that parking may involve a long walk from the entrance, and the area is well-suited for those seeking a quieter, nature-focused experience rather than a full-service resort stay.

It's a beautiful place where love comes true. The scent of beautiful lavender and every corner is beautiful. The food is also great. I regret not buying more souvenirs. I will visit again.

Even with COVID-19, so timed entries, and masks required for some parts, it's a beautiful walk, fragrantful, and peaceful (although they're also playing loud music of the 1940s-1960s). The variety is beautiful and will continue blooming for a few months.

Miss the old Highland Springs Resort. Over the years, it's easy to tell all proceeds are going somewhere else. All the buildings are lacking repair. Most likely to suck what they can out of the old Resort and then sell off the land in the near future. No rooms are available even the restaurant has closed its door.

I was taken there for my birthday on a thursday burger night a year and a half ago. The burger was delicous and if i remember correctly, it came with a beer. That was a good experience. Numerous times , a group of us would come to see and listen to, Don Bostick- player and singer that is fantastic. Those times were quite enjoyable. Why he is no longer there is beyond me.

No more accommodations available since Covid and they are not sure that they will have accommodation again. However , they are still open for special festivals and weekend visits, so it’s great to see them still using the space well. Very relaxing place to be for a few hours

Nice place to get away from it all. The ranch is great just to walk through and relax. The hikes are invigorating and have great views. When the restaurant finally reopens, it will be fully local farm fresh. I was told it may be in about a year. In the meantime, the only places to eat are in Beaumont. I still recommend it as a place to relax and enjoy a simpler life.

The lavender festival at Highland Springs Resort was one of my favorite outings this year! Just be aware that parking can be a long walk from the entrance, and a sun hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and lots of water are must-haves! Cash or credit is accepted for the entry fee and for food. You will be tempted by an incredible array of organic items produced by the farm here - olive oils, teas, honeys, lotions, essential oils....The list goes on! I found it a good strategy to eat first (Grand Oak Sausage with sauerkraut! Divine!) and shop last, or you'll be carrying bags of purchases all over the place, and many are sold in multiple locations. Reserve online ahead of time for horse-driven tours (complimentary sun-brellas for during the ride) and workshops, which all fill up fast! A long wait for lavender-honey ice cream in the sun was tough, but it was delicious! Beautiful kids craft space and storytelling is available too. This is an exceptional event overall, planned with evident care, staffed with friendly and knowledgeable people, and makes for a beautiful, well-spent day as long as you pace yourself and stay hydrated!/
